Theme:
Navigating the Future: Population Dynamics and Sustainable Development in Kenya
About The Conference
The year 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the International Conference on Population and Development Programme of Action (ICPD-POA). Kenya, through the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD), has been implementing various population policies and programs for over 40 years. In collaboration with key stakeholders in population and development, NCPD has identified and organized the 2025 Kenya Population and Development Conference as a platform to bring together experts, researchers, policymakers, and program implementers. This conference represents a critical step toward accelerating the achievement of the ICPD-POA, the SDGs, the Addis Ababa Declaration on Population and Development, the African Union Agenda 2063, the ICPD 25 country commitments, and Kenya's Vision 2030.
